We feel resale value is an excellent forecaster of long-term vehicle quality. Vehicles which have high resale value:
- Last longer
- Are worth more when you trade them in or sell them independently
- Usually are better engineered vehicles

The estimated resale values are based on new vehicles purchased in 2007 and their resale values in 2010. Thus, when purchasing new or used vehicle in 2010 and 2011 it might be beneficial to
use this as a guide. Frequently there is a variance of 10% which often computes to
thousands of dollars. If a vehicle has a higher resale value it usually means that you achieve equity in the vehicle at a faster rate. No one wants to be upside down on their vehicle when it comes time to trade in or sell!
Resale value is very important when leasing a vehicle. Your payment for a vehicle with high resale value is usually less than a vehicle with low resale value.
